SKILLS ASSESSMENT AND TRIALS FOR BARWON SOCCER CLUB

ADDING U12 & U15 TEAMS  INTO THE METRO LEAGUES (West DIV)

Barwon SC are moving forward in 2011 with the new all weather training ground proving to be a huge success and the prospect of a fantastic new club house just around the corner. As well as fielding several teams of all ages in the Local League, Barwon SC are also looking to include a couple of teams into the Metro West Divisions. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and talented 11 & 12 year olds for U12 and skilled 13,14,15 year olds to play in the challenging U15 Metro West where the team is already registered. If you are looking to expand your skills and are looking for new football challenges, then come down to the Home Ground at Reserve Road, Grovedale on any Wednesday at 5.30pm – 7.00pm for skills assessment prior to Team Trials to be held on March 30th or contact any of the following Coaches:

Barwon Soccer Club will be running soccer clinics at primary schools in the Grovedale, Highton, Mt Duneed, Belmont and maybe even the Newtown area this year to try and get more junior players at the club. The only problem is that we need some help from all the members/players to be able to run the clinics. The clinics will run on various days from Monday to Friday between the times of 10 am to 1:30 pm during the months of February, March and April. So if you are able to assist and have some spare time on your hands could you please contact me on my email address or send me a text with your name and number and I will contact you with more details about the soccer clinics.

Pre-Season Training has been going along quite nicely, let’s keep it up!

Where: Artificial Turf Pitch, Barwon Soccer Club, Reserve Rd, Grovedale.

When: Women’s Training: 7pm every Monday and Wednesday.
………. Men’s Training: 7pm every Tuesday and Thursday.

Any new players are welcome so come down to the next session!
